We are fortunate in Grindal to have a wide range of locals producing top-quality food products. In the farm’s fields, Grønt frå Grindal ensures that the finest vegetables are grown throughout the year. Additionally, we have a local brewery and dairy nearby. Hiking
The mountain area of Trollheimen is a short drive from the farm. It extends from Trøndelag to Møre and has a highest point of 1,850 meters. The hiking area offers opportunities for the experienced as well as beautiful trails for those seeking a more leisurely walk in the stunning Trøndelag nature. Be sure to bring appropriate clothing and footwear!
Horseback Riding
Your hosts, Merete and Krister, are both involved with horses and have several Icelandic horses available for a comfortable ride through the valley. We can tailor this activity for beginners as well as advanced riders. Experiencing nature from horseback is a fantastic way to get to know the local area and what it has to offer.
Salmon Fishing
Grindal Salmon Lodge offers world-class salmon fishing. During the salmon fishing season, people come from near and far to fish in the Orkla River, which flows through the valley and right by the farm. Visit the salmon lodge's website for more information.
